Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival, Yerevan city tour
After checking in the hotel, we’ll have a city tour in our rosy capital Yerevan. We’ll visit Megeryan Carpets where you’ll meet ancient more than a hundred years old Armenian rugs. Some examples of Megeryan carpets are introduced in the palace of the English queen, in the presidential residences of Armenia, Russia, Georgia, France, China, Egypt, Bulgary, Sweden, and more countries, as well as in the altar of the church in San Lazzaro Island.
Then we’ll visit the “Ararat” Yerevan Brandy Factory together. There you’ll get familiar with the secrets of the Armenian cognac and taste it. By the way, Winston Churchill considered the Armenian cognac to be one of the reasons for his longevity.
On the next day to your arrival, at 10 AM we’ll leave for one of the largest lakes in Caucasus - the blue-eyed lake Sevan. You may experience water attractions at desire. You’ll explore the ancient church on the Sevan island.
Then you’ll go to Tsaghkadzor to enjoy the beauty of nature, take a ropeway, and zip line if you want.
We’ll leave Tsaghkadzor for Dilijan - one of the most beautiful cities in Armenia. Here we’ll visit Parz lake, tour in the National Park, Haghartsin and Goshavank monasteries. At the end of the day, we’ll arrive the village of Yenokavan where the overnight will be.
Day 3: Activities in Yenokavan Yell extreme park
On the next day, we’ll enjoy our stay at Yenokavan Yell Extreme Park (zip-line, rope park, horseback riding, paintball, off-road, rock climbing, paragliding). After all, we’ll return back to Yerevan.
Day 4: Ashtarak-Amberd-Byurakan
Once more we’ll have a full day. We’ll go to Ashtarak - a wonderful place in the heart of nature. With the specialist’s advice, we’ll make Armenian lavash in a tandoor and taste it. Then we’ll continue our way to Amberd - the royal fortress that dates back to the 9th century.
Our next stop will be the astrological observatory founded by the world-famous astronomer Viktor Hambardzumyan. Here we’ll have a tour and we’ll see the telescopes. If you want, we may take part in the masterclass of making Armenian duduk in an interesting place then return back to Yerevan.
Day 5: Garni temple, Tatev monastery, The wings of Tatev, Khndzoresk, Shaki waterfall, Devil Bridge
At 8 AM we’ll go to see the pagan temple of Garni then continue our way to Areni where the oldest shoe and winery in the world was found. We’ll have a tour in the wine factory and taste.
We’ll go to the Tatev monastery - one of the most magnificent places in Armenia. Here is the longest ropeway in the world - the Wings of Tatev. You’ll enjoy your 5,7-kilometers-long flight. Then we’ll visit the Devil’s bridge, walk on the Khndzoresk Swinging bridge, go to see the most charming waterfall in Armenia and return back to Yerevan.
