Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia is organizing one of the lovely events of the year called “Voskehat Wine Fest”. It will take place on the 7th of September at 5:00 pm, in the town of Ashtarak (Aragatsotn province) near the St. Sargis Church. That day Voskehat Fest will gather all the wine lovers and wine experts on a fest to celebrate the opening of the wine harvest season.
During the festival organizers offer wine tastings with Armenian national dishes, also will be present on master classes on Armenian ancient arts and crafts; such as rug weaving, pottery, and making Armenian traditional dolls. All this will be accompanied by Armenian folk music & dances by the best Armenian local artists.
Those who have kids are waiting lot of fun because there will be 3 D light show along with a special kid-friendly program in a special kid zone
You won't be worried about the transfer because organizers provide guests free shuttle buses to the town of Ashtarak (at 16:00-16:30) from the Republic square and the return will be at 22:00-24:00. You just need to buy Voskehat Wine Fest Glass costing 3500 AMD and enjoy Armenian wines. The festival entrance is free.
