Zipline once means of transportation now means of extreme activities. There aren't enough recordings about the history of this means of entertainment where it was built or who first built it. In ancient times, zip line served as a bridge across rivers or to carry supplies, even foods from one mountain to another mountain.

But fortunately, the centuries passed people started to think better ideas and created bridges, and a lot of extreme lovers couldn't resist themselves and not to try this amusement. And now it is considered to be one of the best ways to pass active rest and to get moments full of adrenaline.

Armenia, being one of the oldest countries in the world meantime is developing according to the new standards of the world. Maybe you will be surprised if you know that the longest Zip-line is going to be in this little country. The construction of the project has already started in Yell Extreme Park which is the first amusements park in Armenia. It located in Yenoqavan village, Tavush Region and is very popular among people from Armenia and different countries.

ZipLine is the first point of the park and it has 5 different lines: 135m, 268m, 200m, 375m, and 750m. The height is approximately 200-300 m above the ground. Before trying it, the instructors introduce you to the safety rules and prepare you for the flight. This is a special training which takes about 15 min, from 30 sec to 2 min for each ZipLine depending on people’s weight and 5-20min walking after each flight to get from one line to another.

The average duration of the trip is 1.5h. This one hour of unforgettable memories can get everyone. You don't need to be professional to be able to do fly, a group of professionals is always there to help you and explain you the rules. The prices are the followings:

Weekdays: 11.000 AMD per person
Weekends and holidays: 15.000 AMD per person
Group (4 and more people): 13.000 AMD per person

But this is not the only amusement activity in this park, recently the Rope Park was opened, a place where you can do a wide variety of sports elements such as rope climbing exercises, obstacle courses, and zip-lines. Neither climbing techniques, nor special physical experience is necessary. Paintball and Off-Road tours are also available, so you can try your forces in paintball, and if you love speed, you can take part in jeep tours riding on unsurfaced roads or tracks and overcoming gravel road surfaces, cobblestone and granite setts.
