Mount Khustup is considered to be the ornament of Syunik region, where took place the important historical events. Those who know Khustup already know that it is one of the most beautiful mountains in Armenia. The relics of the Armenian hero Garegin Njdeh are buried here.

During a tour, we will organize a tent camp and rise to this beautiful mountain.

Tour Plan

  1. Day 1: Bgheno Noravank, Vahanavank

    We will leave Yerevan at 07.00 AM.

    The first stop will be one of the most beautiful and unique churches of Armenia, Bgheno Noravank hidden in the woods. After that, we'll go to Kapan and be in Vahanavank.

    After there, we will go to Bagaburj, where mountain climbing cars will take us to Navcha residence, and there we will organize our tent camp. In the evening, a campfire, games, and discussions will be held.
  2. Day 2: Rising Mount Khustup

    After breakfast, we will start our hike to the peak.

    On the slopes of the Mount the relics of Garegin Njdeh are buried. The view from the summit is indescribable, as like as we rise above the skies.

    We will have a rest for a while, then will return to camp, and from there to Yerevan. Length of the route 12 km.
