Mount Ishkhanasar is one of the highest peaks (3550 m.) in the Syunik region. It’s the highest peak of the Ishkhanasar mountain range which is located on the border of Syunik region and Artsakh.

Tour Plan

 

We’ll get to the picturesque Sev (Black) Lake on the Southeastern slope of the mountain by a mountaineering car (jeep). The lake is situated 2666 meters above sea level. We’ll start hiking from the bank of the lake up to the top, where a pictorial view is opened especially to the Tsghuk and Ukhtasar mountains. We’ll return back to Yerevan late in the evening.

We’ll hike about 890 meters. Depending on the group ability, the campaign may last 4-7 hours. This isn’t an easy hike. It’s intended for those who are well prepared. If this is about you, join us to enjoy the wonderful Ishkhanasar.
