Nagorno Karabagh is a beautiful place; it is covered with forests, has unique and different buildings and wonders of nature. Here, one can pass for many days and not be bored. During this tour, we are going to discover the undiscovered Martakert.

Our goal to explore the forest’s hidden treasures about which only a few people know. Three days of the tour will be hikes. Depending on the tour group and weather conditions, there might be some changes.

Tour Plan

  1. Day 1: Arrival

    Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Walking tour in Yerevan.


  2. Day 2: Departure to Martakert

    At 07:00 AM we will leave to Martakert. When we arrive at the place will start our hike.

    During the day, we will try to see Yeritsmankats monastery (1694) and Khatravank (1204). Both of the monasteries are undescribable beautiful because of the mysterious look of surrounded forests.


  3. Day 3: Jrvshtik and Tiramor monasteries

    The next day of the hike, we will discover Yeghishe Arakyal (Jrvshtik- 1284) and Tiramor monasteries.

    In Yeghishe Arakyal monastery St. Yeghishe holy relics are buried. The building dates back to the 5th century; it means we will see an exceptional masterpiece.

    St. Tiramor church was built in 1183. It was a prominent monastery complex, also considered to be a residence for bishops. Now the monastery is ruined.


  4. Day 4: Karmir Monastery

    At the last day in Martakert, we will see Karmir Monastery (1259). It was a center of miniature painting.

    The locals called it Karmir (from Armenian “Red”). It will be our last stop in Russia. In the late evening, we will get back Yerevan.


  5. Day 5: Transfer Transfer to the airport, flight.
