During this tour, we are going to discover the Armenian Tbilisi. We will walk through the old city and see everything that created Armenians. Georgians took most of the Armenian churches; some of them are not working or in a ruined state.

Tour Plan

  1. Day 1: Departure from Yerevan to Tbilisi

    We will go to Tbilisi, early in the morning.

    We will have a stop for breakfast, after that our hike will start. We will visit the Armenian churches, Havlabar district, which was once full of Armenians, ruined Khojevank pantheon (where Tumanyan, Sundukyan, Rafii, and many others are buried).

    We will see Tbilisi’s modern monuments, peace bridge, etc. Our day will end in one of the comfortable hotels of Tbilisi.


  2. Day 2: City Mtskheta

    Next day, we will go to Mtskheta city, to see the junction of Kur and Aragva rivers and Jvari monastery. It is the masterpiece of Georgia’s architecture and the country’s first international heritage.

    Then we come back to Tbilisi, have a walk and return to Yerevan.
