Saint Hripsime Basilica

The Saint Hripsime church is located in the village of Khndzoresk, Syunik province (in the central part of the old village). Four churches were built in the village's territory across various historical periods. The Surb Tadevos and Surb Hripsime churches are still standing, the Anapat (Hermitage) church has collapsed, and on the southeastern edge of the village a 9th–10th-century rock-cut church has survived. Surb Hripsime (1666) is a three-aisled basilica structure, while Surb Tadevos (17th–18th c.) is a single-nave hall.
