Devil's Bridge (Satani Kamurj)

Devil's Bridge (Satani Kamurj) is one of Armenia's most remarkable natural wonders, hidden in the depths of the Vorotan River gorge below Tatev Monastery. Over thousands of years, mineral-rich springs and the river have carved and built up a natural rock bridge spanning the canyon. Beneath it, warm thermal waters bubble into travertine pools, staining the rocks in vivid shades of orange, green and ochre, while small caves and stalactites add to the otherworldly scene. Visitors can scramble down to bathe in the lukewarm mineral pools and explore beneath the bridge. Its combination of geology, color and legend makes it a memorable stop on the road to Tatev.
