Tour Plan

The Yereruyk cathedral - a unique building among the Armenianian church architecture will be the first stop of our tour. This is one of the largest known medieval buildings built in the 4-5th centuries. The cathedral is considered to be one of the most visited places in Armenia.

The next stop is the Jrapi church of the 19th-century. After Jrapi, we’ll drive to Harichavank - one of the pearls of the medieval architecture covered with beautiful ornaments. The church is magnificent in its simplicity and perfection of construction. The monastery was also a scientific center. The famous Armenian writer Avetik Isahakyan studied at the famous school during 1887-1889.

At the end of the day, we’ll be in the village of Garnahovit to see the St. Gevorg church.

A small hiking trail will be organized up to the St. Hovhannes church located close to the village. The last stop will be the caravanserai of the 9th century, where merchants stayed at night on their road to Ani.
