TOUR PLAN

The Yereruyk cathedral - a unique building among the Armenianian church architecture will be the first stop of our tour. This is one of the largest known medieval buildings built in the 4-5th centuries. The cathedral is considered to be one of the most visited places in Armenia.

The next stop is the Jrapi church of the 19th-century and caravanserai of the 9th century, where merchants stayed at night on their road to Ani.

After Jrapi, we’ll drive to Harichavank - one of the pearls of the medieval architecture covered with beautiful ornaments. The church is magnificent in its simplicity and perfection of construction. The monastery was also a scientific center. The famous Armenian writer Avetik Isahakyan studied at the famous school during 1887-1889.

At the end of the day, we’ll be in the village of Garnahovit to see the St. Gevorg church.

A small hiking trail will be organized up to the St. Hovhannes church located close to the village.
