Day 1

Stop 1.Arrival

Arrival at Zvartnots International airport in Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Stop 1.History Museum of Armenia

Take a dive into storied past of Armenia at Armenia History Museum. It has a national collection of 40 0,000 objects. The permanent exhibition represents the whole history of the Armenian people from the period of primitive society to modernity. The History Museum of Armenia offers fascinating insights into the country’s long-standing winemaking tradition. Here are some key highlights related to wine: The museum houses ancient wine vessels, including pottery and storage jars, showcasing the echniques and materials used in early winemaking. You can find tools and equipment that were historically used in the winemaking process, illustrating the evolution of viticulture in Armenia. Exhibits include written documents and inscriptions that reference wine production and its significance in ancient Armenian culture. The museum highlights the role of wine in Armenian rituals, celebrations, and daily life, emphasizing its importance in the country’s heritage. Displays may also cover various wine regions of Armenia, showcasing the diversity of grape varieties and local winemaking practices

Day 3

Stop 1.Brandy Factory

After spending great time, we will drive back to Yerevan. Stop by the famous Yerevan Brandy Factory founded in 1887. During the International Exhibition in Paris in 1900, the brandy received the Grand-Prix and the legal right to be called ‘cognac’, not ‘brandy’. Factory museum and part of the factory floor are open to visitors year-round. Also, the factory is outfitted with a dedicated bar and a tasting room where visitors can try out some of the most exquisite cognacs in the world.

Day 4

Stop 1.Echmiadzin Cathedral

We’ll depart to Echmiadzin, the center of the Armenian Church and the spiritual center of Armenian people. Visit Echmiadzin Cathedral, the oldest ever-Christian monument in the world. The cathedral was built in 301-303 by Gregory the Enlightener, the first bishop of Armenians.

Stop 2.Voskevaz Winery

Our next winery will be Voskevaz. The winery is established in 1932 and it is renowned for its commitment to producing high-quality wines that reflect the rich heritage of the area. All of their wines, without exception, reflect the true nature of Armenia. The wines are produced only from local grape varieties and for wine aging are used rare highquality Armenian oak barrels. Day 5

Stop 1.Tushpa Wine Cellar

We will visit Tushpa Winery which is located 35 km from Yerevan, in the village of Taperakan. Here we will take tour inside the factory and enjoy high quality Armenian wine in all its perfection and delicate taste. The Tushpa Wine Cellar winery has a 30-year history. This place is about cohesion, warm atmosphere and pride in your roots. The name of the winery is a reference to the historical name of the city of Van in Western Armenia. Stop 2.Noravank Monastery

We will take you up into the hills to the spectacular Noravank Monastery, one of the most beautiful monastic complexes of Armenia, which is located in the picturesque Amaghu canyon.

Stop 3.Yerevan

Drive back to Yerevan.

Day 6

Stop 1.Lake Sevan

Drive to Lake Sevan - the second largest alpine freshwater lake in the world and the biggest in the Caucasus. This huge mountain lake which takes a huge territory of Armenia's surface area is about 1900 meters above sea level to Tsaghkunq village. Gegharkunik region is known not only for Lake Sevan and the endemic fish species "Ishkhan". Being one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia, Lake Sevan is truly the gem of Armenia, having diverse and rich eco system and picturesque shores. When visiting this wonder of nature, make sure not to miss the chance to have a pleasant boat trip, exploring the lake from every possible angle

Stop 2.Mikaelyan Family Farm

We have traveled to the village of Artsvakar near Gavar to taste the unique cheeses made by the Mikaelyan family. Arman Mikaelyan and his wife Marina produce more than 10 different types of cheese, including varieties with the addition of wine, brandy, nuts, and many other combinations

Day 7

Stop 1.Garni temple - Symphony of Stones - Geghard Monastery

Proceed to the village of Garni to see the pagan temple of Garni - a picturesque monument of the Hellenistic period and an impressive piece of ancient Armenian architecture. It was built in the 1st century A.D. After proclaiming Christianity as a state religion in Armenia in 301, the temple was probably used as a summer residence of the kings. Head to the Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list. Geghard is another incredible ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain.

Stop 2.Manukyan Brandy Factory

Pay a visit to the Manukyan Brandy Factory. To restore ancient Armenian winemaking traditions: with this slogan “Manukyan Wine” company entered the wine production market in 2016.
