The Vazgen Sargsyan House-Museum is located in the village of Ararat, Ararat province, at 7 Garegin Nzhdeh Street. It was created by a decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on September 20, 2000, with the purpose of presenting to the public Vazgen Sargsyan's state, public, and military activity.
The museum opened on March 5, 2001, Vazgen Sargsyan's birthday. Visitors can learn about his life and work as a writer, soldier, defense minister ("sparapet"), and statesman. In the museum's courtyard is also installed a bust of Vazgen Sargsyan, the work of sculptor Kamsar Ghazaryan.
