Tour program

Day 1

Stop 1.Arrival in Moldova

Arrival at Chisinau International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Start exploring Chisinau, the capital city of Moldova, with a walking tour through its central district. Visit the Nativity Cathedral, the central square with the Government building, and Stephen the Great Park with its Alley of Moldavian Classics. Continue to see key landmarks including the Parliament building, the Memorial of Military Glory, the historic railway station, and the central post office. Stop by the local souvenir market.

Day 2

Stop 1.Soviet Open-Air Museum - Capriana Monastery - Mircesti Winery

Drive to visit the Soviet Open-Air Museum of Petru Costin, a unique site showcasing Moldova's Soviet past through statues, artifacts, and historical exhibits reflecting life during the communist era. Continue to Capriana Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova, dating back to the 15th century and serving as an important symbol of national and spiritual revival. Proceed to Mircesti Winery, a boutique estate often referred to as the Little Tuscany of Moldova. Set in a restored historic manor, the winery combines tradition with modern techniques. Enjoy a guided tour, wine tasting of 5 samples, and dinner at the winery. Return to Chisinau.

Day 3

Stop 1.Purcari Winery - Causeni Church - Asconi Winery

Drive to Purcari Winery, one of Moldova's most prestigious wine producers, established in 1827. Enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting (3 samples). Purcari wines have been served to European royalty and are internationally recognized for their quality. Continue to Causeni to visit the 17th-century Church of Saint Nicholas, famous for its well-preserved frescoes depicting biblical scenes. Proceed to Asconi Winery, a family-owned estate known for combining traditional winemaking with modern methods. Enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting (3 samples), along with the opportunity to experience Moldovan hospitality. Return to Chisinau.

Day 4

Stop 1.Milestii Mici Winery - Departure to Yerevan

Visit Milestii Mici Wine Cellars, home to the largest underground wine collection in the world. Explore the vast network of tunnels stretching over 200 km and enjoy a guided tour with wine tasting (5 samples), followed by dinner. Transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to Yerevan. Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5

Stop 1.Yerevan City Tour

Start exploring Yerevan, Armenia's capital city and one of the oldest cities in the world. Drive to visit the Victory Park and Mother Armenia monument. Then visit Cascade Complex, home to the Sculpture Park and the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. The program then continues with a walking tour of the city center. Afterwards, we visit Vernissage Market, Armenia's largest open-air market.

Day 6

Stop 1.Yerevan - Areni-1 Cave - Noravank - Wine Tasting - Yerevan

Drive to explore Vayots Dzor province. First visit the Areni 1 Birds Cave. Next drive through the scenic upper Amaghou Valley to visit Noravank Monastery. Then continue to the local Family Winery, known for its delicious dry red wines. Return to Yerevan and make a stop at the Farmer Market Gum.

Day 7

Stop 1.Yerevan - Garni - Symphony of Stones - Geghard - Lake Sevan - Yerevan

Drive to visit one of Armenia's oldest buildings, the 1st-century Garni Pagan Temple. Explore Garni Gorge and marvel at the breathtaking vertical cliffs of octagonal basalt columns, known as the Symphony of Stones. Afterwards visit a local village home to take part in the traditional Armenian bread-making experience. Then continue to visit the 13th century cave Monastery of Geghard (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Drive to visit Lake Sevan and Sevanavank Monastery, beautifully situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake. Return to Yerevan.

Day 8

Stop 1.Yerevan - Zvartnots - Echmiadzin - Yerevan Departure

Drive to visit the 7th-century ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Next stop is Echmiatsin - the administrative and spiritual centre of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit Mother Cathedral and museum inside the church, where the main relics of Armenian Apostolic Church are preserved. Return to Yerevan. Free time before departure. Transfer to Zvartnots International airport. Departure from Yerevan.
