“We visited the Agape refectory with our family in September 2025. Pros: The food is good, most of the waiters try (but not all are as lucky). Prices are above average. A huge and major downside of the establishment is its “director”. Only when we entered the refectory did we ask the waiter if smoking was allowed on the veranda, to which we were told that there was no smoking at the tables, and that there was a designated smoking area outside the veranda. It was important to us because we had a little baby with us. And indeed, the visitors would retreat and smoke in a specially excluded place, including a guest who was in our company. Soon a man appeared at the table next to us, smoking incessantly. At my request not to smoke close with my child, he hatched his eyes and continued smoking even more frequently (on purpose!). It turned out that this "miracle man" is the "director" of this refectory. When asked why customers are not allowed to smoke and the director smokes continuously, we were told that from now on it is possible to smoke in the establishment because the director wants to smoke at the table. When I asked for a book of complaints and suggestions, the manager said they did not have one. In general, the “director” of the establishment has zero client orientation, he clearly does not understand his tasks and functions, and it is a pity for all the staff who have to work with such a manager, who lacks a basic sense of tact and culture. Naturally, we won't go there and advise anyone else.”

“Spiritual and warm place where you eat very well. The setting of this place is very nice, the refectory is well arranged and has unusual objects.”

“In the building of the old refractory of 1655 is this restaurant. The varied tasty and quality food, the service quite fast. The catch is that it's a huge and pretty cold space.”

“Good afternoon! The restaurant was very disappointing for our staff of 10. First, a very expensive restaurant, second, poor service and unprofessional staff. They ordered 9 plates with a separate dish , brought in a common plate 40 minutes later. They ordered salad and fried potatoes-- they forgot about the order at all. They paid 10,000 drams for 3 baskets of bread and a cheese plate. Total rip-off. Anyway, very unhappy with both the food and the service. Galina. P.S. The salad they forgot to bring was included on the bill. And the score has to be checked.”

“It all started like this: on a spacious and cool empty morning, the auditorium was not allowed in, saying it was for large groups only; the waiter could not answer how the recipe lost centuries ago had appeared in the kitchen of their pretentious establishment; the basturm in the omelet was expectedly salty, and the kovurm (which we tried for the first time) turned out to be unsalted but very fatty (and what did we expect from buttered meat?)... But then He appeared to us. The Divine. Delightful. It's great. Lemonade!!! If you could rate it separately, you would put 10 out of 5 stars!!! Yes, it's more expensive than elsewhere. Yes, +10% included in the bill. But he's the one who beats all that value, including tips! A huge jug, where berries lie alongside the heat-freshening ice and sweet soda water. Juicy strawberries, giant blackberries, basil to suit them... Not only does it give the juices to the drink while you drink it, you can eat them! The jug is open and the stirrer is such that it immediately hints that you are neither a freak nor an exception, but do everything right: at one end it is a spoon and at the other a fork! Eco-friendly. Delicious. Careful. I've never seen that before! Since then, all lemonades have been measured by this - and they're still short. Anyway, you'll be at the Agape - be sure to taste the lemonade! It's beautiful.”
