Tavush
Anapat Cave sits within the Ijevan State Sanctuary near the village of Yenokavan and the Lastiver recreation area, along the Khachaghbyur river gorge. The cave contains a carved bas-relief depicting a wedding scene; despite claims sometimes made about a pre-Christian origin, the carving was made in 1976 by Armenian sculptor Benik Petrosyan.
What you can do: enjoy the magnificent views of nature, visit caves, and see the Lastiver waterfalls, spend the night in eco-lodges, and enjoy the evening around the campfire.
