“I went as a group for an excursion in the area and the menu was arranged, with a number of salad dishes to share and then a different main course according to the chosen menu. There was tomato salad, cucumber, carrot, sorrel, cabbage (or so I think), also chopped cheese, bread, which was for sharing. Then I chose the roast pork dish, barbecued. To finish, I had herbal tea which was pretty good. There was still coffee. In this house they traditionally produce dehydrated fruits, using obsidian stones as a heat generator. In fact at the end of lunch we had a tasting of this type of fruit. We also saw that they have an artificial production of mushrooms. It appears to be due to the level of moisture in the ground which does not allow them to grow naturally. In short, it is a great place to stop if you are touring the area.”

“We are visiting the place for the second time. It is a family business of very nice people that prepare excellent food. This time we also get a gata workshop and it was amazing experience. We recommend to visit and feel the place atmosphere and to eat good food.”

“Chir's House is not easy to find, even my guide & driver had to ask locals several times for directions, notwithstanding Google Maps. The restaurant sits in a lush garden with lots of fruit & nut trees and a rabbit hutch. In September all trees were bending under the weight of apples and nuts. I went there for a "sudjukh" demonstration : I was given a board of dried apricots, apples, raisins and figs + a knife + a needle & tread. Chop up in small pieces and tread pieces on the string, then dip in sweet, thick grape syrup. Hang to dry. Chir's House is a business run by the Hovhannisyan family, who focus on organic and ecologically sound production of local products. It was a pleasant stop on my itinerary.”

“It is a wonderful and very interesting place - together with my friends we had a dinner there and we also took part in the cooking classes. The dinner was delicious, freshly made, only from local produces. After eating, we made our own churchkhela (sujuk) and it was very exciting & fun. We had a great time! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for some unforgettable memories 😍🤩😍🤩”
