Restaurant Motel B&B Belveder

“There must have been some changes going on with this place, since I just cannot explain all the good reviews from the others. Visited the place with my friends and kids few days ago, and what a disappointment it was. Pretty much everything went wrong: – Pork bbq was utterly disgusting, burnt to the bones and unchewable – Tjvjik was at par with the bbq, probably heated up for the tenth time, dry and made from parts of the liver you wouldn't normally even consider eating – Chicken kebab was so bad that a dog we tried to feed a piece of it, preferred a piece of bread to it What more – these were basically the only things they had, despite quite an extensive menu, they had no beef or lamp options at all, almost no veggies and greens, and what more, they wouldn't even have lavash. Can you imagine an Armenian restaurant serving bbq without lavash? The only thing edible was the tomato/cucumber salad, somehow they managed not to spoil this one. Terrible place, the worst I've been to for years and years.”

“This is a great choice if one plans an out of town excursion to Dilijan-Goshavank area. You can sense the genuine love in the food preparation. Everything from the homemade bakery, the confectioneries and the lemonade to the main course are absolutely delicious. The gastronomy experience should come to a conclusion with a choice of their delectable dessert and a cup of Armenian tea or coffee. The staff are affable country folks with amazing hospitality.”

“Being a very big group we received a very hospitable welcome and the food was great. Nicely decorated area, can be booked beforehand, the I Vaghinak is nice and speaks some English. This place can become one of the best tourist and leisure spots in the area.”

“Stayed for two nights, place is tidy, food is good, fresh and rich and prices are good, too. We enjoyed the nature and relaxed a bit. There is the monastery of gosh close by and a driver took us up the mountains at Ijevan where we enjoyed a great view for little money as we shared the cab with others”

“Let's start with the location, The location of Belveder is very beautiful, accesible and full of nature. The environment was clean, full of trees. Near the hotel there is a small river, which is great for relaxing during morning or sleeping during the day. The kitchen is very clean, with dishes from armenian cuisine. Great opportunity to taste real armenian food. Prices are very affordable. The rooms are clear and well made. They are very comfortable. During a hot summer day rooms are very cool. Staff is very kind, they are really making sure that their customers stay satisfied. The Manager has build a great culture with employees Everything was great! Totally Recommend!”

“We stayed at the Eco Resort for two nights. We found the stuff to be very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. It’s situated about a dozen kilometers outside of town, next to a river, which provides a pleasant bucolic setting, but it’s better for people who have an access to their own car. The rooms are cozy with a large bed and shared shower. There are several hammocks, which are very lovely. At least one is near the river, which we lay in reading for several hours. There is a big friendly dog who will help you to do yoga and several nice hikes with monasteries and spectacular views nearby. Definitely recommended.”

“Excellent location! On the way to Goshavank, surrounded with cold mountain river and a hill with dense forrest. It has got everything to accomodate short term family stay. Tastfully furnished cottage rooms oversee surroundings from above. Clean and shiny permises. Kids get a pool, they will also have alot of fun in volleyball field. The food!... The food being served is the best you can get in the area. Most of it is organic, "home grown" or from local farmers. Don't forget to ask for home brew "Kompot". The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. The cook has some good secret recepies :) I never had a deer meat prepared the way he did. It was delisious. In other words this is the place where one must go if you are in the area. permises permises.”
