“We ended up here by mistake, thinking it was little Kilikia restaurant, which apparently was next door. However, at the entrance the name it was in armenian letters so didn't realise it. It was bloody hot inside, there is no air con. During our dinner we were sweating and just thinking how to get out to get some fresh air. The most disapointing were the prices. We ended up paying much more than in the other restayrants where the food was much better and the portions much bigger. For the service they charge 10%. I mean really? To serve the food 2 meters away from the bar and go to sit outside the restaurant costs 10% of the final bill? The worst restaurant and highest prices we tried in Yerevan.”

“Friendly, cosy family restaurant, beautifully decorated. The food from western Armenian cuisine was delicious, diverse and nicely served. The price is really good taking into account the good quality of the cuisine and the good service. Highly recommend a diner in this nice, cosy restaurant run by a nice family.”

“Chez Hratch is a lovely small family run restaurant in the middle of Yerevan on Parpertsi street. The food is amazing and the owner is really helpful (we even got complementary desserts at the end). Would definitely recommend this place.”

“Syrian Armenia cuisine that was one of the best meals we had in Yerevan. This family owned restuarant was small, and perfect for our group. Everything was homemade! We ordered Mezze style and shared everything, mainly because it is impossible to choose one meal. The Mante was delicious, and a must have.”

“Food was delicious and home made. Nothing disappointed. Went back and ate there again. The chi koofta, kibibet and hummus was excellent. Highly recommend this place.”

“Basically decided to eat here because I had just arrive in Yerevan, was tired and my AirBnb was around the corner. Turned out to be a fantastic place. it was already booked for most of the night but they could still accommodate me. Menu was Armenian / Middle East. Took the house special (tiny meatball with cherry) which was a combination I had never tasted before: super yummy all the way. Also had a tasteful salad and some humus + aubergine paste as a side dish. Dessert was Armenian Baklava. Not as sweet as its Turkish cousin, and therefore I loved it. Turned out that the cook was the mother of the 2 guys serving, and they gave me another piece for free because I enjoyed the first one so much. Staff were super friendly and super easy-going. If I ever return to Yerevan, I would eat here again on my first night.”

“The current regional turmoil filled Yerevan with Syrian/Lebanese restaurants. Chez Hratch is one of the nicer ones. A cozy, unpresuming little restaurant, with a brief menu (I sampled most of it the gone week) and tasty dishes..”
