About this restaurant
For 20 years Caucasus Tavern has been conducting business in the restaurant industry and being on the list of leaders, it appears with an old color and new approaches. The desire of the founders was to merge the flavour of Armenian, Georgian and Artsakh cuisines, to breathe life into the once-forgotten dishes, to represent the hospitality of their ancestors and to continue their traditions. Its building structure is similar to the 19th century establishments of Yerevan and Tbilisi. To create a harmonious color, natural building materials were used: stone, clay, wood, brick, iron and straw.The pottery here is decorated with the works of a blacksmith:doors, handles, torches, lamps. In a corner of the city and in the hearts of many customers, Caucasus Tavern will continue to amaze us with its unique flavour for many years to come . “We went to this restaurant looking for a place frequented by local people. We asked the driver who accompanied us during our tour and recommended it without hesitation. As soon as we entered, we were conquered by its careful rustic decoration, the detail in the table presentation and the layout of the spaces, with separations that provide a pleasant sense of intimacy. The menu is wide and varied, with an excellent selection of Armenian and Georgian cuisine. In addition, they include photographs, which makes the choice much easier, especially if you do not know the dishes well. We enjoyed the experience so much that we came back a second time. On that occasion, being Easter Sunday, they had a nice commemorative detail: they offered us a small cake and two eggs, a gesture that we appreciated very much. The service was impeccable throughout, attentive and professional. And finally, we found the price very reasonable for the quality offered. Definitely a highly recommended place.”
