Tours typically begin near Freedom Square behind the Opera and Ballet Theatre, where guides introduce statues of Armenian poets and composers, then head along Mashtots Avenue to the Matenadaran (home of ancient Armenian manuscripts), continue via Azatutyan Avenue to Victory Park for the Mother Armenia monument and panoramic views of the city and Mount Ararat, and finish at the top of the Cascade for downtown views — often capping off with wine or seasonal fruit back at Republic Square.
