“It’s the food court where most of the tour organisers stop. The food is good but the time for the service takes a while longer. The space is clean and hygienic and view from here is also great. I would suggest putting a TV or music for the passengers to relax.”
“Was during an excursion to Vayots Dzor region (Noravank-Jermuk-Areni). All buses stop here for lunch. The building is in the Middle American style, inspired by Route 66, with panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains. The atmosphere is appropriate, self-service. Good Armenian and Caucasian cuisine. I chose stew with potatoes (lots of meat), bulgur salad (even better than what they prepare on the other side of the Araks), stewed beet tops with horse sorrel (a seasonal dish, I couldn’t find anything like it in Yerevan). The portions are large, prices are much lower than average in the capital. Tasty! Worthwhile! Good selection of kebabs to order. I would especially like to note the selection of locally produced compotes and lemonades; they are not available in Yerevan. I chose sea buckthorn - it was the best of my life. Be sure to take a supply with you, there are no such things in other places. In Jermuk there is only mineral water and mulberry vodka, alas. The pastries are worthy of special praise; I took samsa with cheese - the best. In Jermuk there is no local choice of baked goods, but this was especially helpful! The staff is friendly and speaks Russian without an accent, and understands those who speak with an accent. They give advice on the composition of dishes. The toilet is good. Parking is ample and convenient. There is a tire washing station! Nearby there is a view of a blooming rapeseed field on a slope and an apple tree with some kind of yellow flowering plant. Not a bad place to admire flowers and take photos for your page (khanami in the style of sunny Armenia). I recommend!”
“We stopped here for a snack on the way from Yerevan to Tatev. A large roadside cafe with a canteen format, you pay and pick up your order, which is not very convenient. A large selection of ready-made dishes and kebabs that will be fried in front of you, there is also a choice for vegetarians. But we were there during breakfast, so I can’t say anything about the quality and taste of the kebabs. There are a lot of people, it feels like all the tourist buses in this direction stop here, so everything is quite slow, but you can take food to go.”
“A large facility where tour companies stop for 20 minute break and marshrutkas stop. It has food, drinks and water closet, toilet, loo, lavatory, privy, latrine, urinal. There were ample employees but the services was extremely slow. Other vendors are in this location.”
