We will begin our day with a visit to Garni, a village rich in history and home to the only standing pagan temple in Armenia, dating back to the 1st century AD. This magnificent temple, dedicated to the sun god Mihr, stands as a remarkable example of Greco-Roman architecture and offers a glimpse into Armenia’s pre-Christian era. In Garni, we will take part in an Armenian bread lavash-making master class. Surrounding the temple is Symphony of Stones, a natural rock formation of basalt columns that appear as if crafted by human hands, making it a geological wonder. Our journey continues with a visit to the Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture. On our way back to Yerevan, we’ll make a stop at the Arch of Charents, a viewpoint named after the famous Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents. From this vantage point, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic Mount Ararat, which holds deep cultural and historical significance for Armenians. We will drive along the shores of Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world, often referred to as the "Pearl of Armenia." Our stop is at the Sevanavank Monastery, perched on a peninsula that was once an island. Built in the 9th century, this historic monastery holds immense cultural and spiritual significance and offers spectacular panoramic views of Lake Sevan and its surroundings. Overnight stay: Yerevan
