“We were a group of 8 people, we tried different dishes, everyone really liked it, it was really tasty! Despite the large order, it was prepared quickly. I only took photos of the menu and the fluffy lavash, then we got carried away with the food and didn’t take any photos. We tried beef kebab, very juicy and tasty, Armenian salad, chicken and goat chakhobili, grilled vegetables, mandak sibekh (a very tasty unusual herb, we recommend), homemade wine, Armenian homemade cheese, lamaj. We regretted that we didn’t come here yesterday.”

“When it comes to chance or what you don't expect. We stopped in Vayk, along the road to Tatev. We ask the hotel staff where we can go for dinner. They accompany us to Luna (thanks again!), in a parallel of the national team. The best dinner of our trip to Armenia, truly excellent. Very kind owners and despite our very poor English we managed to order a fabulous dinner. Absolutely correct prices. Long live Luna Restaurant!”

“One of the few restaurants we found in Vayk. We were welcomed by a very kind girl who spoke English well and with whom we got along immediately. The place is very typical and the food very good. Special mention for the pork BBQ, it was amazing! Their house red wine is the best wine drunk so far in Armenia, it comes from Arani. The bill of 9000 AMD is very good for the quality of the food offered, very good service, experience worth trying.”

“We were staying in Vayk for the night, and we went here to order lahmajoos to take them with us. The stuff (they are a family) quickly made them for us. :) The next morning we decided to have a breakfast here, so we had omlette with tomatoes and french fries. We also drank some very tasty compote. The owners are very nice and friendly people. They told us they are going to open a guest house, so let's hope their business will grow more )))”

“It is a wonderful restaurant. The food was really delicious and exceeded all our expectations. The staff is homely and very friendly. The environment is also very nice. The food is home-made and with friendly service we get a very good explanation. There is also no problem communicating in English. Highly recommended for families as well.”

“We went there for dinner while staying overnight in Vayk. We did not go into the food court as we wanted to try typical local kitchen - and we were very positively surprised. The food was excellent and fabulous, the service was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening with a really Armenian experience. If you want to go a bit off the main road in Vayk the Luna Cafe is a must go. On Google it still says closed but that is wrong - just call them and ask whether they are open.”
