“Nice restaurant with relatively high prices. The restaurant has parking. Probably the only normal restaurant on the Yerevan-Tbilisi route in Armenia.”

“We chose the Tufenkian Hotel as the venue for our wedding evening celebration and couldn't be happier with our decision. The setting was impeccable and the hospitality unparalleled. A special mention must go to the manager, Armine. Her dedication shone brightly as she stayed late, ensuring that all hospitality-related aspects ran without a hitch. Our guests continually praised the warmth and service quality of the hotel. Thanks to the Tufenkian team and particularly Armine, our evening was perfect in every aspect.”
“We stayed for seven days, We felt like in heaven. Location is chosen like in heaven and staff is so brilliant that they make the visitors feel the most important people in the world. Service is absolute and staff is highly professional making the most comfort for guests. I advise all my friends and acquaintances to visit this place at least once in a lifetime :-) Thank you for your wonderful welcoming !”
“We just stopped by for a small dinner which was great and affordable. Great variety of food and drinks, fine dining, WiFi was working 50/50, no mobile reception there!”
“Good Armenian food. I really liked their manti and their egg plant salad. Prices are reasonable compared to the location.”
“Order simple things and they'll be good. With so few customers they do a good job. Cheese platter, olives...”
“I had lunch at Avan Dzoraget restaurant, which is located in the Avan Dzoraget hotel. The lentil & vegetable soup with lavash I had here today was great.”
“There is no alternatives in the area, therefore be happy! Waiters are very nice and supportive but everything depends on how many guided tours have to be served. If there are noone, then excellent: good service. If there are one or more, then be patient and wait your turn.”
“For the price you pay, you may expect a better meal. Lamb was almost burned to the point that it was difficult to identify meat and bonds. Rainbow trout, a river trout supposedly from Debed river, had a price of 20 euro, it was good but the price was simply abusive. Definitely, too expensive for both its cooking and quality. On the other hand, it is a nice restaurant with beautiful windows over the river and patio, inside this magnificent chateau made of stone. Said that, I wouldn't go again because unfortunately we cannot eat the stones nor the balconies.”
“We stopped here to have some rest and dine. The lobby was somehow quiet unless a noisy group came in with screaming children and even more noisy dads. The menu was only in Russian and English. No Armenian menu in Armenia - that's a nonsense! The waiter - a young guy with slow and relaxed manners - mixed up everything we ordered: instead of grilled vegetables he brought grilled chicken, the ashtray arrived only in the end of the dinner despite of several offers. He wasn't able to explain what certain menu items are composed of... And around the tables outside a couple of hens and a lazy cat were wandering ... if it was a rural restaurant, it could have been taken as a local color, but when a place pretends to offer European standards at quite high (for Armenian population, at least) prices, that's becoming strange... However, dishes were very tasty in fact and plates/glasses rather clean and tidy- that was merely the only benefit we got..”
