“Ararat Tavern Restaurant is a wonderful place for a great evening. In the afternoon, they called to book a table across the street from the band. We were greeted friendly as welcome guests. A visit to the restaurant left the most pleasant experience! The atmosphere is cozy, the interior decoration in the Armenian style creates a feeling of warmth and comfort. Employees are friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt and high quality. The menu is varied. Gevorg, the most attentive and friendly waiter, served our table. Knows the menu and is ready to advise on the best options given our preferences. Many thanks to Gevorg for his professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide the perfect service. The art of performing an ethnic ensemble is fascinating in its depth and sincerity. We got unforgettable emotions. A special thanks goes to a talented soloist whose skill is mind-boggling. His performance was the real decoration of the evening. Thank you for this wonderful concert that accompanied us throughout the evening. Restaurant Ararat is a place where you want to return time and again to enjoy culinary masterpieces, a pleasant atmosphere and Armenian music. “If you want to know what restaurants were like in the Soviet Union, go to the Ararat. It's in a basement with a slightly musty smell. The food was barely mediocre. 3 of us sat at a table for 6, which meant I could swap out the chipped plate for another one. The service was attentive, as no one else was there.”

“Worst experience ever! Decided to speak English to the waiter instead of my native tongue as I find it easier and the staff took advantage of us. The lamb kebab was 4 chunks of fat! We couldn't eat it. The chicken was raw. Bread dry and salad warm. We were in and out of this claustrophobic place as fast as we could. The staff are weird and just stare at you. Puts stand to this beautiful city. Never again”
