“In Yerevan you can smell barbeque everywhere, but generally the meat is overcooked. At El Torro I had a great tomahawk steak, perfect cooking, with grilled vegetables, washed down with Armenian Koor wine. All a bit spartan, served in a tiny table outdoors, but very good. Excellent value for money, the wine a little more expensive than the rest, but in the norm for us Europeans.”
