Vayots Dzor

Krya Wines est un petit domaine viticole familial et artisanal situé dans le village de Vernashen, dans la province de Vayots Dzor, au cœur de la région viticole traditionnelle de l'Arménie. Elle a été fondée par Tatevik Gabrielyan, originaire de Vernashen, et Jean-Paul Berger, qui se sont rencontrés alors qu’ils étudiaient l’œnologie en Suisse et sont ensuite revenus pour remettre en état les vignobles vieux de plus de 70 ans qui appartenaient au grand-père de Tatevik. « Krya » signifie « tortue » en arménien ; ce nom a été choisi comme symbole de patience et de longévité. Le domaine associe les traditionnels récipients en argile arméniens, appelés « karas », à des fûts de chêne français, en privilégiant les cépages autochtones tels que l'Areni. À faire : participer à une dégustation de vins accompagnée de collations légères, souvent animée par les fondateurs eux-mêmes ; faire une visite guidée du vignoble sur demande ; profiter de la vue sur les montagnes et les vignes.

Poonj est une destination agrotouristique unique située dans le village de Vernashen, près d'Yeghegnadzor, dans la province de Vayots Dzor, en Arménie. Il s'agit du premier espace touristique du pays entièrement dédié à la dégustation de conserves et de confitures artisanales. Les visiteurs peuvent déguster une large gamme de conserves maison 100 % naturelles. La gamme de produits comprend plus de 40 variétés de confitures, compotes et jus de fruits. À faire sur place : déguster des produits, se promener dans les vergers privés de l'usine et découvrir les coulisses de la production.

Vayots Dzor

ArtCheese est une salle de dégustation de fromages et un bistrot situé dans le village de Yelpin, dans la province de Vayots Dzor, qui a ouvert ses portes le 22 août 2023 sous l’impulsion d’Arthur Nazaryan et de son épouse, Lida Mkrtchyan. Il est issu de la coopérative agricole « Yerpin », fondée en 2017 par cinq membres qui, à l’origine, vendaient leur lait à une usine extérieure avant de construire leur propre atelier fromager. La gamme de fromages s'est depuis élargie, passant de trois variétés d'origine — Yelpin, Chanakh et Lori — à douze, dont un fromage de type Gouda néerlandais, fabriqué à partir de lait provenant de la coopérative et des environs. À faire sur place : déguster une sélection de fromages arméniens et de style hollandais, les accompagner de vin et de miel locaux, et les savourer sur place dans une ambiance de bistrot.

Yell Extreme Park is Armenia's first adventure park, located in the village of Yenokavan in the Tavush region, about a two-hour drive from Yerevan. Launched in 2015 with the country's first zip-line, it has grown into a multi-activity outdoor destination set in forested mountain terrain, combining adrenaline sports with the region's nature. Visitors can try a 5-line zip-line course (speeds up to 80 km/h, gliding at around 1,400 m above sea level), Via Ferrata cliff climbing routes secured by cables and ladders, off-road mountain trips in open-sided Kamaz trucks, and horseback riding; the park also has an on-site café and picnic areas for resting between activities.
