“Very tasty cuisine; beautiful view and very sincere Narek set the table for us. So welcoming and great! We visited most of the restaurants here in three days, and this one is the best.”
“I'm fairly sure Terrace Hotel is associated with Verona Resort next doors, because the lady who looked after me for dinner in the restaurant, served me breakfast the next morning in the hotel. When I got to the restaurant, there was only 1 other table with a young couple. Lucky for me, because I don't think the menu was in English and the friendly lady-waitress certainly did not speak it - so the young couple translated and ordered for me. I started with a nice glass of red, then ordered pork chops with fries. I got served 2 decent-size chops and the fries were deliciously coated in paprika salt. It was a simple, no-nonsense meal and I very much enjoyed it. After another 2 glasses of red, I paid 12,000 manat - excellent value for money.”
“Promisingly beautiful interior and dishes. PICTURES ON INSTAGRAM, of course; but the restaurant couldn’t cope with the food (we ordered fish, shashlik, vegetables on the grill), in the end it turned out that the ram died of a heart attack at the age of 78, the fish was raw and the eyes were “at home”. Etc...”
“From an extensive menu we ordered a starter of dumplings, followed by fish & fries for my husband, beef stew and cheesy bread for me, beer and the waiter recommended the most expensive glass of white wine at 2500. After an age the drinks came. My wine was warm and tasted like vinegar. We waited and waited and waited. Eventually a plate of horrid desiccated mass-produced fries arrived. We were so hungry we started eating them. My ‘beef’ stew came later. The meat was awful - desiccated, tough and with a really unpleasant taste. I ate a small amount of the meat and the onions in the sauce before my husband pointed out it was actually liver. I’m not a fussy but I don’t eat organs. Then the dumplings came in a watery ‘broth’ so we shared them. Then waited and waited for the fish. After 1.5 hours we gave up & went to pay the bill. Whilst we were arguing with the unpleasant head waiter (whose side kick had a black eye from fighting) the cheesy bread arrived. We were told we must pay for it & have it as a take out. It all got a bit scary & as we’re strangers in a foreign land we paid up with the fish and bread eventually deducted. I was told in no uncertain terms that I had to pay for the liver as I should have realised that beef meant liver. So I took it and fed it to a stray dog who gobbled it up. I will not judge Armenian food and hospitality on this travesty of a restaurant. There were several others losing the will to live whilst waiting for their food. I would treat many of the reviews on this site with extreme caution. Look how long they’ve been posting. Where they’ve been. Do the reviews look similar? Just saying.”
“Fantastic service and food. Waitress was fantastic. The food was fresh and the house wine extremely good. To sit in the garden was great.”
“Don't miss this beautiful cozy place with terrace facing the lake and mountains. Excellent choice of Armenian dishes, wine and spirits. Food presentation is fantastic.Stuff went far and beyond by listening to our needs and fulfilling them Our waiter Armen provided us with outstanding service, made our dinner remarkable and very pleasant.”
“The worst place, poor service, semi cooked dishes. Never choose this place to visit unless you’re not dying from hunger.”
“The restaurant offers a wide range of local dishes. The food is very tasty. Service is superb and prices are average Good atmosphere”
“One of the few places in Jermuk to have delicious dinner. And what is important everything that is written in menu exist :).Everything was very tasty and fresh. Also a great thank to waitress Irina. She is awesome. Thank you!”
