“During our recent visit to Alpenberg Yerevan, we were thoroughly impressed not only by the restaurant’s ambiance and quality of food, but most of all by the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Anjela. Though we’re originally from Yerevan, our family has been living between Europe and North America for many years, giving us a broad perspective on the international restaurant scene. And it is with that experience in mind that we can confidently say: Anjela is one of the best waitresses we’ve encountered—not just in Armenia, but anywhere. She was professional yet warm, incredibly attentive without being intrusive, and had a deep understanding of the menu, offering helpful suggestions with a genuine smile. What stood out most was her poise, timing, and her ability to anticipate our needs without us having to ask—a rare quality even in some of the most acclaimed dining establishments abroad. Alpenberg is lucky to have someone like her representing their brand. If you’re visiting, ask to be seated in her section—you’ll be in excellent hands. Highly recommend this place for both locals and visitors looking for a refined dining experience with world-class service.”

“First thought that it looks like a good place to sit and have beer and drinks with friends, but as you go in, it was very welcoming to just about anyone. We were quite hungry and meant to just order food. The pork ribs portion was huge and very tasty, sauce was perfectly balanced. And on the side was mash and franks. Me and my friend could barely finish and we thought we could eat more! Drinks were also quite lovely 😍”

“MARI is absolutely INCREDIBLE and speaks multiple languages which makes ordering so easy. The food and drinks were amazing. I recommend the Viennese Hot Dog 🌭. Really wonderful vibes and fantastic service on NYE! We were worried we wouldn't get a table and we did.”

“The food might be good, but the service was a mess. My dish never showed up, even though they kept saying it was on the way. My wife got her meal in 20 minutes, but I kept being told to wait another 3 to 7 minutes. I Didn't mind to wait, it was buisy evening, but After a while, I’d had enough and said I’d leave without paying. Suddenly, my food was supposed to be ready in 7 minutes. I asked for the bill and to have the food wrapped up to go, but then another awkward wait started. To top it off, the manager almost made it seem like it was my fault for being upset.And never suggested an apology . In the end, it felt like they only cared about the busier tables, leaving us neglected. What could’ve been a nice meal turned into a big disappointment.”

“Nice place with excellent service. We tried the ribs and a selection of sausages. It was delicious. They have their own home brewed beer which was excellent. We tried Pils. There was also an Austrian-German style show in the evening which was fascinating.”
