Tour Plan

Nagorno Karabagh is a heavenly place, that’s why during this tour you will appear in heaven. As the tour is a hiking one, you will see all the beauty and the hidden parts of this place. We will have breakfast at the bank of the river, then will climb up the highest peak of Artsakh, gather around the campfire and sleep in the tents. Shortly, like in a fairy tale.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Armenia

    Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Walking tour in Yerevan.
  2. Day 2: Tour to Patara

    We will leave Yerevan early in the morning.

    After having breakfast at the bank of the Trtu (Tartar) river, we will continue our road to Patara village. From there, a truck will take us to the mountains. The tent camp will be on the slopes of Kusanats mountain. It is the highest point of Artsakh mountain-chain (2832 m).

    In the evening we will gather around the campfire.
  3. Day 3: Rise to the Kusanats mountain

    After breakfast, we will climb up to the mountain’s peak. Depending on the group possibilities rising will take 2-3 hours. Late in the evening, we will return to the tents.

    The overnight is in tents.
  4. Day 4: Visit historical sights

    Early in the morning, we remove the tent camp and move to Kachaghakaberd. In case of bad weather conditions, instead of not visiting Kachaghakaberd, we will visit another historical sight. In the area of Patara village are many historical sights. (“Okht eghtsi” monastery (12-13 cent.), “Tseranahatak” monastery (1326), graveyard(9-13cent), cross-stone(10-13), Otskavank (12-13), castle (12-13), Holy Savior church( 13 cent), watermill, overall registered 159 monuments). Late in the evening, we will be in Yerevan.
  5. Day 5: Departure, flight Tents and heavy things will be delivered to the camp by truck.
